8 Tips for a Great Getaway

Many people can't or won't take the time for a one or two-week vacation. I've found that taking a one to four day getaway during the week or over a weekend is not only fun, it's a great way to help balance work life and personal life and recharge your batteries. For me, two or three mini-vacations are better than one long trip.

A recent four-day getaway got me thinking about what it takes to make the most of a short vacation. These 8 tips are designed to help you make the most of your getaway. Do you have others? What do you to get away from your business and spend time with your loved ones?
