Only 38 % of Larger Companies Can Support Telecommuting in Pandemic

In its survey of companies with over $1 billion in revenues, AMR Research reports that 68% of surveyed companies indicate they're not prepared for a pandemic, such as the one that could occur with the Avian flu. Of the companies surveyed, only 38% report they could support a telecommuting workforce. Between the Avian Flu and the cost of gas, telecommuting is sure to gain popularity.
