Friday January 19, 2007
eBay provides a great opportunity for many of those seeking to start a home-based business. Estimates suggest that over 430,000 people currently earn all or some of their income as eBay resellers. Selling on eBay can also allow home business entrepreneurs to test the market for their products. Whether or not the popularity of eBay's online marketplace has peaked is open to debate. There are still millions of Web surfers out there who love to shop on eBay and many of those who make it a habit to scout for rare items through eBay and to price shop for more common products through the auction site.

Business Week Online featured an article titled, eBay Sellers Go Back to School - 10 Tips, which is Business Week's compilation of 10 tips for improving sales on eBay. The tips were compiled from research performed over the years by dozens of professors of marketing, economics, management and psychology.

Whether you are already an eBay seller or you want to test the waters, the tips should help you increase your chances of eBay success.

You can also get a lot better results by building niche store websites on your own domain and using Ebay’s affiliate product tools to import products. This gives your site immediate relevance and earns you money when shoppers shop at ebay.

I like your post. My partner Edward and I just created a site to help people that are brand new to eBay to teach them how to create an eBay home business. We help those who have been selling on eBay to even better. From your post it sounds like you care for other people’s success as we do. Keep the posts up I definitely will be reading more.
