Office-in-Home Tax Deductions - Worth It?

Tuesday April 3, 2007
If you're self-employed with a home-based business, or if you telecommute from home, you may be able to take advantage of the home office tax deduction that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) allows. Before you jump the gun, though, you'll want to know if you're eligible to claim the deduction and which expenses are considered deductible.

In this article I take a closer look at Home Office Tax Deductions that will help you see if you qualify and what you'll need to do in order to get the most out of your potential tax deductions. You'll want to read the article even if you've already filed this year's return in case it might be worth filing an amended return later or if you are thinking about taking the deduction in a future tax year. You'll also want to read the article to decide if it's even worth taking the deductions at all.
