After having used QuickBooks in my home business for several years now, I know I'd be lost without it. But traditional QuickBooks software, in my opinion, has a bit of a steep learning curve - even for me with a minor in Accounting in college. The more you know about money management and taxes in your business, the easier it will be to manage your home business books, no matter which financial software you choose. And ,with new versions of QuickBooks being released, including online versions, you may find that learning to use QuickBooks properly is not as hard as it used to be.
