Planning Your Home Office Space

Wednesday March 26, 2008
Whether it's a room, an area of your basement or attic, or even a closet, properly planning the space that will act as your home office is important to help you get your work done and will probably save you considerable time and money in the end.

With proper planning, designing and laying out the space becomes much easier, and so does budgeting. Rather than make the whole process seem like a chore, taking the first step and understanding what your needs are is key to make setting up your home office a fun and exciting experience.

And, like just about anything else, if you've been procrastinating over setting up a home office to work at home or for running your home business, just taking the first step is very big when it comes to actually getting things done.

Great information, definitely a good read…Start with the bare essentials IMO, then add as you go. It’s what makes sense when first starting out. Dont waste money you dont have.

The better you FEEL about your work environment the more you get done. Working at home requires self disciplne. Once you have everything in place and you make the commitment to stay on track – success is inevitable. It does require organization, persistance and commitment. Nothing less will do.
