VIPdesk Announces Work at Home Virtual Open Houses

Wednesday August 6, 2008
VIPdesk provides virtual contact center solutions, including virtual concierge services, contact center workers (whom they refer to as "Brand Ambassadors") and reward redemption services to companies in the travel, auto, financial services, and retail industries.

Brand Ambassadors must get certified through VIPdesk's training program and my work with client customers via phone, email, chat and fax. There is no cost to register with VIPdesk and no cost for the training once you are accepted into their program. Brand Ambassadors are employed as independent contractors, meaning they are responsible for paying their own taxes, and in some cases their own expenses.

Like many other large virtual customer service providers, VIPdesk has strict in-home hardware, software and phone system requirements, so you will need to be sure you can meet those requirements before you apply.

VIPdesk expects a significant expansion in the number of Brand Ambassadors that will be needed in the months ahead. For that reason, they offer virtual open houses periodically so those who may be interested in this work at home opportunity can find out more before making any commitments.

All Open House question and answer sessions are conducted online. Here is the schedule for upcoming VIPdesk Open House events. To register, click the link next to the date and time you want to attend to be taken to a secure site for registration.
