Recession - Planning for Your Economic Recovery

The Series, Getting Your Business through Economic Recession and Hard Times, continues this week with part 2, Recession - Planning for Your Economic Recovery.

The second article in the series looks at how you can set objectives for working your way through a recession or hard times in order to get your home business through the rough times. Tips and suggestions are provided for establishing and prioritizing your objectives along with creating a list of action items for each objective.

Even if your business isn't especially hurting right now, the tips on establishing objectives and developing action items may come in handy for planning a new business or for growing your present one. Next week I'll discuss putting your plans into action.

Conversion Optimization is a lot more difficult than some people may believe: it takes a lot of foresight to induce buying habits in random cross-sections of public. Something I’ve found is that the more forward you are about your role as “salesperson”, even if it is online, the more converted customers you will see. Be knowledgable about what you’re offering, be approachable but most of all, be the one approaching. Do your marketing and get people in front of your website!
