House Passes Bailout Bill - Now What?

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the 700 billion dollar economic recovery package this past Friday. The big question now is how will the financial markets react? On Friday, the Dow dropped another 159 points over concerns about rising job losses and the long term impact that the rescue plan will have on the budget.
Will markets begin to rebound? Will it get any easier to refinance a mortgage, get a business loan or for businesses to get short term financing for payroll and inventory? Will there be any boost in consumer confidence before the upcoming holiday shopping season? What will be the impact this week on world financial markets? Only time will tell.
