Happy Veterans Day

Veterans Serving their Country

To all veterans out there who have faithfully served our country, a warm thank you and a wish for a happy Veterans Day.

If you or a member of your family have an inkling to start a business or need funding for your existing small business, don't forget about the SBA's Patriot Express Loan Initiative.

This special loan program is designed for veterans, members of the military community and their spouses who want to start or expand a small business and unless it's extended, will run through the end of the year in 2010. Patriot Loans can be used for a variety of business purposes including funding for working capital, machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, land and buildings, tenant improvements under lease agreements, and, under special conditions, refinancing prior debt. The SBA does not issue the loan - it merely guarantees the loan through a partner lending institution. These days, loan guarantees are huge as banks are reluctant to put any of their capital at risk.
