Home Based Business Ideas - Interior Designer
Monday January 26, 2009
Interior designers are typically licensed, degreed professionals who decorate homes, offices and entire buildings. They juggle environmental, legal and aesthetic concerns in conceptualizing their plans. Interior decorators, who may or may not need professional licenses or as much formal education, often focus on the finishing touches, such as furniture, curtains and color. Both can build a home business but with different salary and job-scope expectations.
If you have an eye for design and creativity, an interior design or interior decorating or interior design home business may be just right for you.

I spend quite a lot of time with Interior Designers. My job is to work with a horticulturalist to determine the best plants, and flowers to decorate a business and the kinds of containers to place the plants in. I’ve always found the designers to be highly professional which is sometimes overlooked.
Your job sounds like fun!
