It's not often that I visit a website and feel compelled to write or blog about it, but that's what happened when I visited Moolahology - www.moolahology.com, Marcus Mendel's site that teaches you about becoming successful with affiliate marketing.
What I like about Mendel's approach to the subject is that he doesn't treat it like a "make millions overnight" subject. His approach is refreshing in that it's both realistic AND detailed enough to get the complete picture. The one-hour video (accessible by clicking the Watch the $90,000+ Video link at the top of the page) is worth watching, even if you already think you know what affiliate marketing is all about, because he shows you specific examples of what works and what doesn't work. It's not some slick marketing presentation either - it's just a real person giving your real information.
The other thing I like about this site is that it focuses on the learning - not on getting you to click on his affiliate links within the site. In fact, many of his blog posts don't even contain affiliate links. The other thing I like is that if you watch the video and then decide to sign up on the site, no one wants your credit card number. Finally, there aren't a bunch of Google AdSense ads plastered all over the site to monetize it. (There weren't any that I noticed.)
To all that I say, "Bravo, Marcus. Keep up the good work and thanks for publishing a useful site without the hype and the phony get-rich-quick online lies." I highly recommend it.
