There are home-based consulting business opportunities in nearly every vocational field you can think of. Getting set up as a home-based one-person consultancy doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. Like any other business you'll want to know what types of businesses or individuals comprise your target market. You'll also want to decide on the rates you'll charge and what specific services you'll offer. Ideally, you'll put together a business plan - even if it's an informal one before you get started.
