Capcatchers was founded in 1999, when the owner Don decided to take his hobby making beer bottle openers, later called Capcatchers, into a profitable home based business. Early on, he displayed them at craft fairs, and when he grew very successful, he decided to open up a website. Since then, the website has grown, with most of the clients purchasing personalized products for Weddings, Groomsmen Gifts, Graduation, Birthdays, Retirement, Father's Day, and more!
Capcatchers is a green home based business that works out of the upstairs loft of a barn. We manufacture our products in the summer while the weather is warm, and use solar panels to supply us with our electricity. All of our products are natural or recycled. The wood comes from trees in New England, and the beer opener heads come from recycled metal, ones from melted down ships, cars, or appliances.
